Barry was on the "The Daily Show" the other day (guess he didn't get the memo that sitting presidents don't appear on "entertainment" shows but that is a different story). One of the things that came up was Obamacare. Not a surprise, since Obama thinks its significant. Obama would probably like the idea of calling it historic since these types of things end up defining a presidency. And Barry the narcissist that he is, would love that.
But is it.
Not really.
Its just another bad "progressive" piece of junk in an all too long line of unfortunately done laws that liberals have stuck us with.
So what could make it historic?
Obamacare could be historic if it is the first major law overturned to
restore liberties to the people of the U.S. That would make it
historic. It's place in history certainly wouldn't be the way that Obama would want it to be seen in history, or the way he thinks it will be seen.
Imagine the repeal of Obamacare being the first in a line of other laws shown to the door of history. If we can finally turn the tide of ever growing government back to what the founders saw as the ideal U.S. government. One that was very small that doesn't become the giant that threatens the liberty of us all. The one where citizen legislators are the majority, instead of career politicians. Ones to go to Washington to get rid of unneeded laws instead of going to create new ones. Ones that want to put the power back into the hands of the citizens instead of some overpaid government employee.
Could we have this?
I think we can. And it starts on Nov. 2!
