What Should the Policies for the Replacement of Obama Be?

Since its about 15 days from the last 800 of the Obama regime, its important to discuss what the policies of the next president should be.

Since we as Americans probably want about the complete opposite of Barry,  what are some of those things.

Respect for life.  Liberals and Democrats (and Obama) have a terrible record on respect for life.   The support for abortion,  the support of the wrong answers for end of life issues,  support for embryonic stem cell "research" cannot be worse for them.    Unfortunately Republicans can be wishy washy on life issues at times,  so having them in office doesn't always put life first.  Life issues has been a small part of this election due to the lousy economy.   Conservatives have to keep Republicans feet to the fire on this issue.    Democrats are always against life, and keep the few that do respect life are kept from the spotlight.     A pro-life president is needed more then ever.

Understanding the Proper Role of the Federal Government.    This issue has been brewing for decades with no sign of ending.   Unfortunately we generally have been going the wrong way on this issue for far too long.   It seems the only time the huge growth of government was slowed was the Reagan years.   And it only slowed it a little coming nowhere close to being it to a stop.  Neither of the President Bush's slowed government and no Democrats are interested in the job.  The growth of government must be stopped and then reversed.   Billions of dollars must be prevented from being spent  and thousands of federal agencies have to be defunded and ended.   It has to go much further then just defunding NPR.    The new president must direct Congress to send him a budget that is far smaller then today and provide no money for thousands of federal agencies.   The federal government must get out of health care, education and housing completely.

Restore the Constitution.    Takes ups from the last point.   The federal government has only a few jobs.   It must be put back to those few things.  One of them is the National Defense.  Both the military and border defense.    The only increase in any government spending must be defense.   The president must install federal  judges (at all levels, not just the Supreme Court) that believe in the constitution as written, not the "living" constitution that liberals think exist.

Getting the Tax Code in Order.   High taxes and far too many rules  hurt the economy more then just about anything.   It is the biggest reason that jobs get sent of the country.   The reason why this recession is lasting so long is largely due to business being frozen in place because they do not know what the government is going to do next.   And when the do, its almost always the wrong thing making business even harder and less profitable.    A simple flat tax or the fair tax must replace income, business and investment taxes (and the IRS).   No more tax breaks for politicians favored companies and people.

Privatizing Charity and Social Services.  One of the biggest mistakes of having the big government is charity and social services.   The government has failed for the most part at both.   The private sector once did those things and had no problem doing them.   Why did that change,,,,only because some people thought they knew better.    So the government took over  more of it, and destroyed it and the people it was supposted to help.   It should be returned to the people.

Running the Remaining Parts of Government.
The remaining employees of the federal government must understand they are public servants and they are not going to have higher pay and benefits then the private sector.    All pay must be least 20% less then the private sector, and benefits need to lowered to a affordable level.    It should be easier to fire bad employees.   And the biggest one.   They should be prohibited from joining unions.   No public employee should be a member of a union or be allowed to strike.   If one wants to be "rich" don't work for the government.

Of course no one president is going to be able to do all those things.   But we need a president that will set the nation on that path.   President Reagan gave us an idea how an America like that could be.   We need a new era that puts the American people first instead of its federal government.    It could be a great thing.  America is an amazing nation and we need to end the things that make it decline.   Liberalism has been a horrible experiment that needs to end.
