Well, there are 900 days left of the Obama Regime (barring somehow he gets reelected, but with politics and his unbelievable good luck one cannot rule it out).
He will be running for reelection the minute the House and Senate return to Republican control. I am a little worried that Republican control of Congress does increase Obama's reelection chances. What do people think of that? Or has he been Jimmy Cartered enough already to preclude a second term?
Or is he going to continue to ignore the Clinton years or will he learn and inch away from the left? So far he hasn't learned from that. That worried me at the beginning that he would be able to avoid the major problems of the first two years of Clinton. Thankfully that didn't come to pass as Obama's first two years have been even more rocky then Clintons!
It seems he is a very committed ideologue, that hopefully will lead to his downfall. Clinton learned to work with Republican at least a little. Obama doesn't seem capable of it, preferring his way or the highway method (notice how the lamestream media never notes that for Obama: only G.W. Bush was labeled with that). Republicans will chose the highway because that turns out to be the better choice. I think they need to isolate him the final two years so he cannot do more damage. Its better to do nothing then allow his agenda to advance any more. Even if it means the conservative agenda doesn't move much either.
He thinks he has done much, but Obamacare will not last long. Its unpopular, and more importantly the vast majority of it is unconstitutional. Hopefully the end of it will be sooner rather then later. Unfortunately many will lose their jobs as companies tighten their belts with the new taxes and regulations for this so called "reform". Not that much can be done to stop that damage even with Republican control of Congress. Obama will veto any rollbacks on it until he is out of office.
But one day, a great day for America, will be the day he leaves office for good.
I have wondered what Obama will do after he leaves office. He will be a thorn in the side of any Republican president that has to undo the damage his presidency has caused this country. He will be an annoying pest who will not want to leave the limelight. I wonder if he will run for office, like his old Senate seat (which he really never sat in much). That seems like a possible thing, since that is the only thing he is good at. Yeah, he will run for something. Especially if he loses in 2012, I would see him trying again for a second term in 2016. He is just arrogant enough to try.
Hoping for Real Change!
