Well, its signed. The so called "stimulus" was signed today by Obama. Of course no news organization (not even Fox) called it by what it really is: Massive Pork!!
Its the largest single Pork Bill ever. Obama and the Democrat congress has managed to out spend the Republicans in a mere three weeks. Of course the only useful parts were stripped out to "lower" the "cost". Almost all the tax cuts and most of the rebates have been removed to increase the spending part of the bill. Which by the way is (spending) larger then it was when the bill (800 billion vs. 1 tril) was larger!
So a "stimulus" that won't work has managed to remove the very few parts that may have done at least some good (or at least not created more problems). Good job Democrats. This mess is all yours. Keep it up. I want the Republicans controlling Congress again in 2010 and you will make it far easier for them. Obama just ran you under his bus.
Now the question is: how much time will the "mainstream media" give Obama before they can no longer give him the positive news he will need to keep this stimulus going. My guess at least until after the 2010 election. President Bush would have gotten no time, but they will try their best to give Obama as much time as they can get away with. And probably still try.
The stimulus will not work folks. It just can't!
