I wish to express my thanks to President George Bush for a job well done.
I know that many are glad to see you go, and you had to put up with a lot of nonsense and stupidity during the eight years. It seemed like a thankless job at times, with a lot of high and lows. I hope you enjoyed the highs and the fun parts of the job.
History will see you much better then you are seen now. The people who have slandered you will be forgotten in time. You were the right person to be President on September 11, 2001. We didn't need to worry about where you stood.
I hope you enjoy your retirement from public life. You may not believe it now, that many will miss you being President. We live in a amazing nation where we don't need to worry about the transfer of power and you will likely very happy to be heading home today anyway.
I know you will probably not see this but this is to show that many think you were a fine president and a good man. Peace to you and Laura.
