Unfortunately a Lake County Judge has allowed
early voting to begin in northern Lake County Indiana. A federal judge had sent it back to the state for a ruling. The county judge sided with Democrats who wanted it, (all the early voting locations are in the more urban Democrat part of north lake county, the only south location is Crown Point, the county seat) Republicans fear major voter fraud for opposing it. And for good reason! This is what I posted at the Chicago Tribune

The issue is confidence in a fair election. Not that people are denied the right to vote because they can on election day or by absentee ballot. With this ruling, as a lake county voter, my faith in a fair election is MUCH less. When groups like acorn are out there with their fake voter registrations (they even registered a Jimmy John's sandwich shop here as a voter) you got a problem. There has been more then a thousand of those that they have found already. There are many more out there.
If the election isn't fair, it will not matter if you voted or not. A fair election should not be sacrificed for political correctness or for some lazy "voters". The old saying in Chicago "Vote early, Vote Often" isn't so funny when fraud happens. """end quote
