Zombietime about the nonsense that the Marine Corps Recruiters have to put up with in Berkeley on a daily basis. The city council even gave the protesters the parking space outside their door! Do you think they would give the space to Right the Life outside an abortion clinic? Not a chance! They would have to be across the street on another block, Its the classic, liberal vs. conservative double standard protest. Liberals are free to destroy property and do whatever, conservatives have to protest somewhere else hidden so no one is offended.

again. It looks like most of these things shouldn't have been funded to begin with. All nonsense that taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for in the first place. All to the tune of $2 million or so. Small change for the feds but not for most people. Its all this "little stuff" that adds up to the out of control spending in Washington.
$975,000 for cataloguing the papers of late Congressman Robert Matsui??????????? If this is so important why can't private funds be raised???
A school lunch initiative to integrate lessons about wellness, sustainability and nutrition into the academic curriculum. For the sum of $243,000! Why can't liberals raise their own money when they are brain-washing school kids? AND another $87,000 for a second nutrition education program! It costs over three hundred grand to teach nutrition in Berkeley?
A public safety interoperability program for $94,000! I don't know what that would be. It must be coming from the department of homeland security money no doubt.. Since Berkeley doesn't see the wisdom of military spending to prevent terrorism in the U.S.
