Today's Open Mouth, Insert Foot is a easy one. John Kerry is the "winner" today. Its hard to believe that John Kerry actually served in the military. I guess he only served because he had too. If he was a college student today he would be trying to keep the ROTC off campus (although universities themselves have been doing a "great" job keeping the military off campus). Aren't you glad that today's military are volunteers?
Well he managed to slam the military again in a press conference Monday. Course now since he is getting heat for it was a "joke". Some joke....
IMHO it is no different then the disrespect that the returning vets from Vietnam had to put up with. Expect now they lie about it. One face they say they support the troops but the other face is the one the vets see. The one that hates the military and the ones who choose to serve.
It was no joke. Thats what Kerry thinks of the military. A place for dumb and poor people. The irony of it all is, the many military people that use the perk of college tuition that is provided. By the military.
