The UN has appointed a new Secretary-General to replace outgoing Kofi Annon. He is Ban Ki-Moon from South Korea. He is the current foreign minster of South Korea. Read about it
here. France has congratulated him on his appointment so he probably isn't much of an improvement over Annon. Not that I was expecting much.
